After an epic week of competition, we’re ready for the next stage of Worlds 2022. Accordingly, read on as we cover everything you need to know in this Worlds Main Stage Preview 2022!

Worlds Main Stage Preview – Four Groups of Four

From 24 teams, we’re now down to the final 16. With the likes of Fnatic, Evil Geniuses, RNG and DRX qualifying from the Play-In, the stage is set.

Now, the $2,000,000 competition rests on another Group Stage. Here, the 16 teams have been split into 4 teams of 4 as listed below:

  • A: Cloud9, EDward Gaming, Fnatic, T1
  • B: DAMWON Gaming, Evil Geniuses, G2 Esports, JD Gaming
  • C: DRX, GAM Esports, Rogue, Top Esports
  • D: 100 Thieves, CTBC Flying Oyster, Gen.G Esports, Royal Never Give Up

Accordingly, returning as soon as 7th October, the competition will involve BO1 Group Stage matches. From here, only the top 2 teams will progress to the Knockout Stage while the bottom two are eliminated.
