In the world of PUBG, next week is incredibly exciting. Accordingly, both PC and mobile esports will be celebrating the final event of the season. Indeed, read on to learn how to watch the $4,000,000 PUBG Mobile Global Championship 2022 event below!

Taking place yearly over the past two years, KRAFTON is organizing this event after a superb season. Specifically, all the events this season have built up to this final event, hence the massive prize pool.

Anyways, taking place offline in Jakarta, the $4,000,000 event will run from 11th November to 8th January – it’s going to be a long and exciting journey.

For those unaware, this event always tries to simply be massive. Apart from the prize pool, a total of 51 international teams will be attending this event from all over the world, trying to be crowned the world champions.

Format

With regards to the format, we have multiple stages to talk about.

Firstly, the Group Stage will run from November 10th to November 27th 2022, in Malaysia. Here, 48 teams have been divided into 3 groups of 16 as determined below:

  • Red: BRU, INFIN, BTR RA, BOX, INFxCES, TQ, R8, NGX, Titan, DRS, AGxi8, S2G, MB, emT, LGD
  • Green: BAC, VPE, EVOS, YALL, iNCO, A7, Knights, POWR, 1ME, GodL STE, SKY, FF, HVVP, DWG, NOVA, USG
  • Yellow: TEM, FaZe, GD GIDS, GEEK, DX, KS, FG, FALCN, GEEKAY, IHC, T2K, BJK, GL, DS, RC, TBD

Within each group, 24 matches will be played in one week, with 4 matchdays. Once this stage is complete, teams will move on to the next stages as follows:

  • Top 3 of each group – Grand Finals
  • 4-11th of each group – Survival Stage
  • Bottom 5 of each group – Eliminated

So, up next will be the Survival Stage. Taking place between November 30th to December 2nd. Overall, 24 teams in 3 groups of 8. Across each group, a total of 18 matches across 3 days will be played. Furthermore, the top 16 teams will advance to the Last Chance while the bottom 8 will be eliminated.

It’s at the Last Chance that teams have one final opportunity to qualify for the Grand Finals and join the remaining teams. Running from 3rd to 4th December, from the 16 teams after 12 matches, only the top 4 will move on to the Grand Finals. Meanwhile, the bottom 12 teams are eliminated.

Then finally, we’ll have the 16 teams for the Grand Finals. Dated for January 6-8th in Jakarta, the 16 teams will play 18 matches to determine the Grand Finals champion.
