Team Envy Drop mummAy – Changes Before Champions

27 Oct 2021

So far, the story for Team Envy has been rather bittersweet. Indeed, by this we mean that the North American has consistently played at the highest level but simply fail to take first place. Accordingly, before heading into VALORANT Champions, they’ve made a small move on the bench – Team Envy Drop mummAy!

Team Envy Drop mummAy – 1 Year Later

Joining back in July of last year, Anthony “mummAy” DiPaola has been a part of the organization for a long while now. However, this change is no surprise. Accordingly, the player has been a part of the bench for a while, ever since Jimmy “Marved” Nguyen stepped in back at Stage 3.

Regardless, the youngster has been a terrific edition to the roster since joining, helping Envy land the following achievements:

  • 1st @ VCT 2021 NA Stage 1 Challengers 2
  • [email protected] VCT 2021 NA Stage 2 Challengers 1

Bearing this in mind, it’s very likely he’ll find a new home shortly, he’ll just be missing out on the biggest event of the year.

Anyways, as a reminder, here is the current roster for Envy:

  • Pujan “FNS” Mehta
  • Victor “Victor” Wong
  • Austin “crashies” Roberts
  • Jaccob “yay” Whiteaker
  • Jimmy “Marved” Nguyen

Sticking to what got them second at Stage 3 Masters Berlin, they’re a strong side heading into VALORANT Champions.
