Riot Games have opted to announce that VALORANT is going to have its very own mobile version! Here’s everything you need to know:
VALORANT Mobile – What do we know?
At the time of writing, we’ve got no idea what’s to come with regards to VALORANT mobile. However, Riot is intending on expanding and growing the VALORANT space, and making a mobile version for the game, seems like their intended approach.
This is what VALORANT Executive Producer, Anna Donlon said about the news:
“One of our top goals this first year was to earn the trust and respect of the global FPS community, and to prove to them that VALORANT will always uphold the fundamentals of a truly worthwhile competitive tac-shooter,” Donlon said. “To see our growing player community recognize and appreciate what we’re trying to do with VALORANT is beyond what we could’ve expected and we’re thrilled to soon offer the same competitive VALORANT experience to even more global players.”
Didn’t we know of a mobile version already?
VALORANT coming to mobile has been circling around through rumours for the past couple of months, but no one was actually convinced that Riot would pull it off. It’s certainly going to be a new experience for both Riot, as well as their players, the VALORANT community. Here’s a mock up image of what VALORANT would look like on mobile:
What’s next?
Riot Games have been experimenting non-stop with their mobile games. Most recently they revealed Wild Rift, a mobile version of the very famous League of Legends. They’ve also released the mobile version of TFT (Teamfight Tactics) and Legends of Runeterra. They’re certainly outdoing themselves this year, and we can’t wait to see what else they have in store!
