A New League of Legends Champion has been revealed, by the name of Gwen, the Hallowed Seamstress. In this article we’ll be going through some of her basic abilities, and how she can impact the current pace of League Of Legends.
Abilities for New League Of Legends Champion Gwen
Passive – Thousand Cuts:
Gwen’s passive allows her basic attacks to deal bonus on-hit magic damage based on a percentage of her health. The Basic attacks against champions will heal her for some of the damage dealt.
Q – Snip Snip:
Gwen rapidly snips her scissors, dealing magic damage in a cone. Gwen will snip twice, adding one snip per basic attack landed on an enemy. Enemies that are in the center of each snip take true damage, as well as the bonus magic damage from Thousand Cuts.
W – Hallowed Mist:
Gwen spins up the Hallowed Mist and surrounds herself for 5 seconds, gaining armor and magic resistance. Enemies outside of the Mist cannot target her or hit her with any abilities. The mist will follow her the first time she tries to leave it, but will dissipate next time.
E – Skip ’n Slash:
Gwen dashes a short distance and empowers her attacks with increased range, speed, and on-hit magic damage for four seconds. Attacking an enemy during the time of the ability, refunds 50% of this ability’s cooldown.
R – Needlework:
Gwen’s ultimate ability allows her to cast Needlework 3 times. But, she needs to hit an enemy within 8 seconds to unlock subsequent casts, dealing magic damage, slowing enemies, and applying Thousand Cuts. The first cast fires just 1 needle, the second fires 3 and the final fires 5.

How will she impact the current champion pool?
Just from looking at her abilities we can already feel that she’s going to be one of the most looked at Assassins in the 2021 meta. She has a very similar playstyle to Irelia, Fiora, and Camille, and will certainly be challenging one of those champions in the Top lane.
