Format
As usual, the format for competitive PUBG events is rather simple. Specifically, the 16 teams will be competing against one another in the same battle royale lobby with 30 matches over 6 days.
Each match will follow the Global Point Rule as speciifed below:
Kills
- 1 point per kill
Placement
- 1st – 10 points
- 2nd – 6 points
- 3rd – 5 points
- 4th – 4 points
- 5th – 3 points
- 6th – 2 points
- 7-8th – 1 points
- 9-16th – 0 points
Also, the following tiebreaker rules will be followed:
- #1 – Placement Points
- #2 – Match Points on last match
- #3 – Placement ranking on last match
- #4 – Damage on last match
As always, teams will need to balance both placements and kills to find the most success overall.

Predictions
Accordingly, the best way to predict this upcoming event is to look at PCS 6 Americas which featured most of the same teams:
- #1 – Soniqs
- #2 – YAHO
- #3 – Guadalajara Guscans
- #4 – eUnited
- #5 – 22 Esports
- #6 – Bing Bang Boom
However, to view an overall picture of how these teams stack up, we can also take a look at the PUBG Global Championship 2022 AM Points:
- #1 – Soniqs – 745 points
- #2 – eUnited – 700 points
- #3 – YAHO – 445 points
- #4 – Wildcard Gaming – 345 points
- #5 – Bing Bang Boom – 255 points
So, it’s quite clear that the likes of Soniqs an eUnited are the clear favourites for this upcoming event. However, as you can see from the PCS6 standings, it’s often the case that a team surprises the competition – perhaps a last chance qualifier team can do this.
Last season, a the PUBG Global Championships, TSM managed to place in the top 4 – let’s see if another team from NA can manage this achievement too? Getting there starts right here.
