According to credible website Thespike.gg, Fnatic have managed to reach #1 in the VALORANT EMEA Rankings. Here is everything you need to know about Fnatic’s journey so far:

Fnatic reach #1 in VALORANT EMEA Rankings – Origins

Fnatic entered the VALORANT scene back in February with the SUMNFC roster. This team consisted of Boaster, Doma, Mystic, Moe40 as well as Tsack. The team had just come off of a 2nd place in the First Strike event in the late stages of 2020. In the initial stages of 2021, they weren’t doing too bad, but something just wasn’t fitting correctly. Because of this, Fnatic opted to bench both Tsack and Moe40, to pursue 2 young stars and fraggers. They brought on Derke and Magnum on the 8th of April and they have been very dominant ever since. Here are their best results since the change:

  • 2nd at VCT 2021: Stage 2 Masters – Reykjavík – 30th May 2021 – $100,000
  • 2nd in VCT 2021: EMEA Stage 2 Challengers Finals – 2nd May 2021 – $18,040
  • 1st at VCT 2021: Europe Stage 2 Challengers 2 – 18th April 2021 – $17,957

Obviously the Stage 2 Masters performance was the one that left everyone in awe. Not only did they eliminate North American team Version1, but they also took down their European rivals Team Liquid, and the Korean lineup of NUTURN Gaming. Unfortunately these victories were bittersweet as they faced a 3-0 loss against the North American Sentinels.

Fnatic’s earnings

Since their beginning of competition in VALORANT, Fnatic have earned $135,952 USD in winnings, 2nd in all of Europe. Just under Team Liquid, and above G2. If you can remember, G2 was one of the strongest teams back in Summer of 2020. Despite being very successful, the team has undergone multiple changes in 2021 to pursue a more stable results sheet, and hopefully become #1 once more.
