TSM reportedly acquiring PowerOfEvil from Flyquest

According to several rumours, TSM are reportedly acquiring current mid-laner for Flyquest, PowerOfEvil. 

Sources: @PowerOfEvilLoL notified @TSM Tuesday that he will sign with the team as their new mid laner at the opening of the League of Legends Free Agency window on Nov. 16 at 7 p.m. ET.

PowerOfEvil chose TSM over @EvilGeniuses, who have been aggressive in the mid lane market.

TSM reportedly acquiring PowerOfEvil – Who is he?

23-year-old Tristan “PowerOfEvil” Schrage has been playing League of Legends professionally since 2013. Since then he has been on multiple rosters, mostly European. Some being: Unicorns of Love, Origen, Misfits, OpTic, CLG, and most recently Flyquest. His best achievements so far were the following:

• 5th-8th at the 2017 World Championship – 20th October 2017 – $183,864
• 2nd place in the EU LCS Summer 2017 – 3rd September 2017 – $59,600
• 2nd at the 2020 Summer LCS – 6th September 2020 – $50,000

Why sign PowerOfEvil to the Mid-lane?

With Bjergsen retiring ahead of the 2021 season and moving into the coaching role, it means that TSM is currently in need of a mid-laner. And who better than PowerOfEvil? He has placed extremely well in most splits, in every region he’s been in, and was one of the biggest factors to Flyquest’s success in the most recent North American Summer Split. With PowerOfEvil in free agency recently, it is almost certain that TSM will be picking him up for the 2021 season.
