The popular footballer went public with his announcement regarding a new Rainbow Six Siege team which he’s rebranded to JLINGZ esports.
He had the following to say in an interview with Radio 1 Newsbeat:
I’ve been following esports for a long time and now it’s a perfect chance to dive in.
Accordingly, I’ve always liked to keep my mind busy outside of football.
I’ve got my clothing line because I’m into fashion but I’ve always been into gaming as well.
The esports industry is massive now and lots of people are dying to get involved and I just can’t wait to help progress my team.
