In terms of format, Riot Games are doing what they do best. Accordingly, a two-stage competition looks to take place.

First, we’ll have a Group Stage. Here, 4 groups of four teams will commpete in a double-elimination format. They’ll be fighting to be the 2 of 4 teams to progress following the BO3 matches to make it to eh Playoffs. Indeed, the following are your groups:

  • A Group – Acend, Team Envy, X10 CRIT, Keyd Stars
  • B Group – Sentinels, KRU Esports, Team Liquid, FURIA Esports
  • C Group – Gambit Esports, Team Vikings, Team Secret, Crazy Raccoon
  • D Group – Vision Strikers, Fnatic, FULL SENSE, Cloud9 Blue

Finally, after the Group Stage, we have our final 8 teams. Indeed, they’ll be seeded into a single-elimination bracket. All matches will be BO3 except for the Grand Final being BO5.

Predictions

So, how do we measure who the top team is? Here are your top 10 teams following Stage 3 Masters:

  1. Gambit Esports
  2. Team Envy
  3. 100 Thieves
  4. G2 Esports
  5. Acend
  6. Sentinels
  7. Vision Strikers
  8. KRU Esports
  9. SuperMassive Blaze
  10. F4Q

Although they placed lower at Stage 3 Masters, we’d like to favour Sentinels in this upcoming event as they’ve dominated this past year and will look to continue doing so.

However, Gambit Esports are standing in their way and could win it too. We can’t wait to see how it boils down.
