How To Watch: Mid Season Cup 2020: event, teams, schedule, stream, and predictions

LoL

26 May 2020

Nathan Bonello

More details regarding the LoL Mid Season Cup have been released and in this article we’ll be covering everything you need to know about the Mid-Season Cup, and how to watch it.

Tournament’s background

The Mid-Season Cup was first announced on the 13th of May, after the announcement of the cancellation of the Mid-Season Invitational on the 23rd of April. The main reason that led to MSI’s cancellation was, since traditionally MSI is an international event, with teams from several regions, this was obviously not possible due to the current health situation going on.

How to qualify for the main event

  • All matches are played in a Best of 1 format.

Knockout Stage

  • Single elimination format
  • The 1st placing team of each group will face the 2nd placed team of the other group.

Predictions

It is very hard to predict who will be the most dominant team during the Mid-Season Cup as every team participating has a very high chance of winning. However if history were to be the main source of prediction it is likely that Invictus Gaming or T1 will be taking the win at MSC.

Overall it should be a great event to spectate, a chaotic battle between the two most conquering regions in League of Legends.
