For those unaware, the ESL Pro League is a yearly event for CS:GO. Indeed, organized by ESL, with the Intel Grand Slam on the line, this event looks to be incredible.

Accordingly, taking place between 22nd February and 26th March, there’ll be $850,000 on the line with the top 32 teams in the world. Indeed,, heading to Malta once again, here are the competing teams below according to their means of qualification:

Format

ESL Pro League Season 14

Overall, the format for this event involves multiple stages of competition.

Firstly, a Group Stage event will involve four triple-elimination format groups, where each group has eight teams. With all matches being BO3, here are the groups below:

  • A: Outsiders, IHC Esports, MIBR, Fnatic, Cloud9, Evil Geniuses, G2 Esports, Eternal Fire
  • B: Heroic, Movistar Riders, BIG, Complexity, Imperial Esports, FURIA Esports, SAW, MOUZ
  • C: FaZe Clan, Rooster, paiN Gaming, Ninjas in Pyjamas, OG, 00 Nation, Grayhound, Team Vitality
  • D: Team Liquid, Rare Atom, ATK, ENCE, Team Spirit, Astralis, forZe, Natus Vincere

In order to make it to the Quarterfinals, teams advance to the Playoffs from the Group Stage in the following manner for each group:

  • Winners – advance to Quarterfinals
  • Runners-up – advance to Round of 12 (High Seeds)
  • 3rd place – advance to Round of 16 (High Seeds)
  • 4th place – advance to Round of 16 (Low Seeds)

Once in the Playoffs, a single-elimination bracket will take place. Notably, this implies that teams have one lifeline and a loss results in elimination. All matches here are BO3, while the Grand Final is BO5.
