American organization eUnited has just announced that they are signing Jmoh for their VALORANT roster. Here is their announcement:
eUnited signing Jmoh for VALORANT – Who is he?
21-year-old Jason “Jmoh” Mohandessi kicked off his VALORANT career with Immortals, about 4 months ago. Unfortunately he didn’t land a permanent stay with the team, after a train of inconsistent results. Immortal’s best achievements with Jmoh were a 5th-8th place at First Strike North America, and a 2nd in the NSG x Renegades Invitational. A few weeks after First Strike, Immortals benched him from the team.
On the other hand, 2 weeks after the new year kicked off, eUnited revealed their full VALORANT roster. Just 10 days later, they released a statement addressing that one of the players they acquired, Showtime, was kicked from the roster. This meant that eUnited were open to options and started trialing players. This is where Jmoh took the opportunity and just a few months later, he’s signed permanently.
VALORANT’s current state
Despite being over 8 months into release, VALORANT is still in its infancy. Rosters are still being formed, and organizations are still debating whether it’s worth getting into the esport. Best thing about it is that it’s interesting to see which teams manage to sort out the missing puzzle pieces in time.
