LoL

The summer split of the NA LCS is already at its 7th Week of play, and in the last 6 weeks we’ve seen some pretty big upsets, and some very great games. Here are the current standings at the end of Week 6:

  1. Cloud9 – 10-2
  2. Team Liquid – 10-2
  3. Team SoloMid – 7-5
  4. Golden Guardians – 6-6
  5. FlyQuest – 6-6
  6. Evil Geniuses – 6-6
  7. Counter Logic Gaming – 5-7
  8. 100 Thieves – 4-8
  9. Dignitas – 3-9
  10. Immortals – 3-9

Who’s leading?

Cloud9 and Team Liquid are currently leading the pack with a score of 10 wins and 2 losses. Cloud 9 had their first loss versus 100 Thieves back in Week 5 and have had their 2nd loss versus Evil Geniuses with their latest roster change. On the other hand, Team Liquid have lost their first game versus Evil Geniuses and had their 2nd loss versus their main rivals, Cloud 9. It’s a battle between 3 titans at the moment, and Cloud 9 seems to be at the winning edge for the time being.

Upsets

With regards to upsets in this year’s NA Summer Split, the Dignitas roster has been pretty disappointing so far, currently sitting at 3 wins and 9 losses in just 6 weeks. They are due for a roster change in the coming weeks for sure. Another example of an upset is the Immortals squad. At the end of last month we covered a topic which was related to the Immortals management being released from the organisation. Now they have switched up their Main roster and academy roster with hopes of them scoring some points before the summer split ends, however it seems very unrealistic at this point.

A team that is worth mentioning with regards to their performance would be TSM. They have defied all odds coming into the summer split with their huge role changes on the rift. Bringing back Doublelift and promoting Spica from TSM academy to the Jungler on the main roster, definitely raised some doubts, however they have definitely delivered as they are currently sitting at 3rd place in the NA LCS Summer Split standings.
