HomeStory Cup is back with its 18th iteration, taking place in the TakeTV studio in Krefeld, Germany.

HomeStory Cup is one the most relaxed tournament in esports and has spawned some of the most cherished moments in SC2 esports history. The tournament is fun for both the players and viewers. Alongside the Starcraft2 tournament, there will be fun little segments featuring the players and casters.
The tournament will feature some of the best players from around the globe fighting for the HomeStory Cup title as well as the largest share of the yet to be disclosed prize pool.




Format

Round-of-32 Group stage:
The players are split into eight groups, each consisting of four players. 
Top two from each group proceed to the next stage.
Group matches are played out in GSL format

Round-of-16 Group stage:
Players are split are split into four groups, each consisting of four players 
Top two from each group proceed to the next stage.
Groups are played out in GSL format

Playoffs:
Single Elimination bracket starting in the quarterfinal.
Matches are Best-of-Five except for the Grand Final which is a Best-of-Seven
