General info
RLCS Season X is the second RLCS season in 2020 and moving into 2021.
This season will be see the biggest changes yet to the RLCS System, because of the League Play and the annual seasons being abandoned and replaced with an open circuit which will include Fall,Spring and Winter. These three seasonal events will lead into the international major, with each team collecting points that will determine if they will qualify into the World Championship
Format
The tournament will begin with a Swiss System where 32 teams are split into two groups and the series are best-of-five. The bottom 16 teams are eliminated.
Stage 2 will consist of a 16 team swiss system, with best-of-five series, the bottom 8 teams are eliminated.
The playoffs will feature a single-elimination bracket with best-of-five series except for the Grand Final that will be best-of-seven.
