2022 Overwatch Contenders Summer Series is a debut event and the first Contenders event featuring Overwatch 2 PvP gameplay and a second-tier competition in the professional esports scene of Overwatch and it is split into different regions (NA, AU, CN, EU, KR). The tournament was organized by Blizzard, one of the biggest game developers and publishers with a prize pool of $25,000.
