2020 IEM XV Beijing Online is an Online tournament featuring four regional divisions: Europe, North America, Oceania, and Asia. 32 teams will compete for $250,000 USD as well as ESL Pro Tour points in order to qualify for the Master's Championship to be held in Katowice in 2021. It was organized by ESL and Sponsored by Intel, Acer Predator, MTN Dew Game Fuel, and GG. Bet.
Format
Qualifier:
Open Qualifier will be played on a Single-Elimination Bracket, bracket starts with a Best-of-one and all qualification matches are best-of-three series
Closed Qualifier will be played on a Double-Elimination bracket all matches are best-of-three
Group Stage:
Group Stage will be played on a two double-elimination format (GSL) each group has 4 teams and all matches are best-of-three series.
Playoffs:
Playoffs will be played on a Single-elimination bracket all matches are best-of-three except Grand final which is a best-of-five series
