2019 European Championship Cup

The European Champions Cup is a newly minted CS:GO event series hosted by Eden Esports. The European tournament will be played out online with $ 60,000 on the line as well as qualification slots for a bigger LAN event (Champions Cup) later in the year.

The event is split into three segments.

Preliminary Stage:

Group Stage: Four GSL-style groups of four teams each. All matches are Best-of-Three. The top two teams from each group advance to the playoffs, and the bottom two to the group stage of the last chance stage.

Playoffs: Single elimination bracket with Best-of-Three matches. The top four teams advance to the seeding matches of the final stage. The bottom four proceed to the consolation playoffs.

Consolation Playoffs: Double elimination bracket with Best-of-Three matches. The top two teams advance to the bracket of the final stage. The bottom two teams proceed to the playoffs of the last chance stage.

Last Chance Stage:

Group Stage: Two GSL-style bracket groups of four teams each. All matches are Best-of-Three. The winner of each group advances to the playoffs. The bottom two teams are eliminated.

Playoffs: Single elimination bracket with Best-of-Three matches. The top two teams advance to the bracket of the final stage. The bottom two are eliminated.

Final Stage:

Seeding Matches: Single elimination bracket with Best-of-Three matches. The top two teams advance to the semifinals of the playoffs, and the bottom two to the quarterfinals.

Playoffs: Single elimination bracket with Best-of-Three matches. The top four teams at the event qualify for the Champions Cup.
