TwitchRivals showcasing the first ever Valorant Tournament

News

3 Apr 2020

Nathan Bonello

This past weekend, a couple of Twitch Partners, and pro players were given a chance to try out the closed beta version of Valorant. They were not allowed to release the footage or any details about the game, but they have publicly voiced their opinion in the Valorant TwitchRivals. This is what Shroud had to say about Valorant so far:

Having an FPS legend like Shroud praising the game, must really mean that all the good stuff that has been said about Valorant has been true. Some people were thinking that it was too good to be true and were saying that all these streamers and public figures were paid to praise the game, but this was not the case. The game is just really good and we all can’t wait for tonight’s twitch rivals.

Yesterday twitch announced that today, the 3rd of April we will be able to watch the previously recorded gameplay from last weekend and even though it is pre-recorded gameplay, it will be in a tournament format with casters, production and everything.

How to Watch

The event will be starting at 10AM PT (19:00 CET) and it will be broadcasted on the twitch rivals channel here: (twitch.tv/twitchrivals). The Twitch partners from these recorded games will also have a full, unedited and uncensored match from their perspective on their very own twitch channels. Some of them are Gotaga, Forsen, Mickalow, Neo, TaZ, Summit1g, Timthetatman, DrLupo, Ace, Dizzy, Hiko, fl0m, and many more…

Tonight’s twitch rivals is definitely going to be one hell of a show, so buckle in, and get ready to watch some intense Valorant gameplay, coming to you in just a few hours!
