Sinatraa, the last Overwatch League MVP and main DPS player for San Francisco Shock has announced that he is stepping down from the roster, and officially retiring from Overwatch to continue his esports career in VALORANT with Sentinels. San Fransisco Shock is the only team that he has ever played for in the Overwatch League. His most recent winning is the Overwatch League season 2 Championship Mwhich took place last September.
We’ve been seeing quite a lot of VALORANT signings as of recent times, some being T1 esports signing Brax, AZK and Crashies, Ninjas in Pyjamas signing their former Paladins team, etc… However, this is the first time we’re seeing an Overwatch Professional player announcing that he is retiring / quitting the game to switch over to VALORANT.
Sinatraa will be joined by Jared “Zombs” Gitlin,
which was an Apex Legends player for team Sentinels, and by the former
CS:GO Complexity players, Shahzeeb “ShahZaM” Khan and Hunter “SicK”
Mims. Their 5th player is still to be announced, however we shouldn’t be
surprised if it’s a familiar face that will be joining this Vigorous roster.
Here’s their announcement:
