It will see teams from across three big esports continents battle it out for the chance to be crowned champ.  Taking place over the course of just one weekend, there is no margin for error if you want to walk away from the competition with the glory. Of course,  though, with that glory comes the chance to win a big prize pool to the tune of $150,000 USD.

With some of the biggest teams in the world of Global Loot League Season 4 finals is a must-watch event for esports fans and we have all the details you need right here.

How to Qualify for the Main Event

To get into the global loot league season 4 finals teams from across the globe have been battling it out in their own regions in local qualifiers. There were 3 of these separate regional qualifiers that happened earlier in February made of a Europe and the Middle East Africa qualifier (EMEA), a North America qualifier and a South America qualifier. All the teams from these areas participated in their own leagues with a select number of the top teams progressing to the finals that will kick off this weekend based on their finish in their respective regions. The top 8 teams from the EMEA Finals, the top 4 teams from the Americas Finals, and the top 3 teams from the LATAM Finals will be attending the finals and so the tournament will consist of the top teams from across these continents.

Tournament Format

Being a league, the format of the competition is very straightforward. It will see the 16 qualified teams play 18 matches with 6 matches being played per day in the Squads FPP game mode. Each round will be a free for all between the teams where kills in the game will be recorded and will be reflected in the teams’ placements in the league. When all rounds are completed, there will, of course, be one team who will have the most kills. It will then be them who take home the top prize and become champions. In doing so, they will win the $65,000 grand prize. However, there will be 30,000 and 20,000 respectively for those who finish 2nd and 3rd in the league. There will also be prizes valued from 12,000 to 4,000 for finishing between 4th and 8th.

Predictions

The participants in this PUBG league are all very impressive and this is demonstrated by the fact they beat off the best of their continents in order to qualify. At this stage, the best of the best worldwide are going to be there so it will be a tough call. However, in terms of who has the best track record in this competition traditionally, then you should look at the FaZe Clan. The FaZe Clan be finished third in the last two Global Loot League seasons and fourth the year before that. As such, while they have never won outright, they have already been competing for the top prize and won’t want to settle for anything less than a win on the 4th time of asking. With the absence of two teams who finished first and second last year too, it does look like its wide open for them to snatch the title this year-round. In addition they got an incredible 2nd position after an outstanding performance during the last 2019 PUBG Globlal Championship which is the most important tournament during the year. So, they are clearly the favourites to win this tournament.
