Flashpoint League moves to online

After a successful weekend of Counter-Strike, Flashpoint announced that they are prioritizing the health and safety of everyone involved with Flashpoint 1, hence why they have decided to move their league to an online setting due to current situation.

As a result of this delay, Flashpoint have moved the scheduled matches forward. They have revealed that the league will resume on the 20th of March with the following matches:

Friday, March 20

  • 18:00 – Envy vs MIBR
  • 21:00 – Dignitas vs Cloud9

Saturday, March 21

  • 18:00 – MAD Lions vs Copenhagen Flames
  • 21:00 – Gen.G vs Chaos

Sunday, March 22

  • 18:00 – Orgless vs FunPlus Phoenix
  • 21:00 – HAVU vs c0ntact

How will this affect Flashpoint league?

So far, Flashpoint has gotten an overall positive response, fans are loving the banter and the rivalry, and even if it isn’t the best Counter-Strike out there, it’s still top tier. Moving to an online setting will definitely impact the league strongly, we’ll just have to see how Flashpoint manages to handle the situation.
